When two polices were driving in their patrol area, suddenly they received information from police headquarters on Jl. Pahlawan. A police, who sent the news on the radio, told that there had been a bank robbery in Jl. Pandanaran. They were immediately rushed to the reported location but on the way, they saw a suspicious-looking man was riding a motorcycle so fast that they decided to follow him. The motorcyclist was taking a shortcut through Graha Santika Hotel, he intended to Jl. Gajah Mada. He did not take the fact into account that there was a traffic jam on the road. He still ran his motorcycle up in the air. Suddenly, a car ran over him. He fell down and was injured pretty badly.

The two polices, who chased him, were immediately arrested. He was taken to hospital for giving some treatments as necessary. At the police station, five polices look into information about the robbery that had just occurred on the same day. However, the arrested person still took it easy answering every question. He pretended to be unconscious with the intention that no longer questioned but the police did not want to take any risk, they still sit him up all day long. Who the actual perpetrator of the robbery was on that day remained unclear. All of the police’s allegations were turned down by the motorcyclist. The detectives tried to look into the robbery case as carefully as possible. They made every effort to collect evidence and witnesses for three days, while the suspect took his time behind the prison. Finally a bank employee recognized the robber's face, when he tried to rob her the other day.
