Movie Review: The Loretta Claiborne Story

Picture taken from www.imdb.com through www.google.com

A movie titled The Loretta Claiborne Story is an inspiring movie which made based on a true story. The main character, Loretta, is a mentally and physically handicapped young woman who can reach her dream successfully through many obstacles. Her mother, Rita, is an underpaid single parent who has many children.
Although Loretta realizes that she is different from others and she often gets bullying from them, she still stands in her own feet to face it. She sometimes gets mad, but her tough mother is always supporting her. A quote that I really love from Rita is, “Stone and stick may break my bone, but word will never hurt”.

The most touching part of this movie is when Loretta gives a hand-made sweater to her mother, but she died not long after that. Overall, this movie can completely give spirit to the audiences since we can learn many things from a handicapped woman who finally become famous as her winnings in some Special Olympics. Superb!
